The Mirrored Past - Demo

Hi! This is the first game I made just for myself(outside of uni).

This is an idea from 2 years ago when I needed a concept for folio, and it's from when I wanted to play some game with my friend who have motion sickness during lockdowns, but all the majority of coop games I can find are either FPS or casual farm games.

Please let me know if you found any bug. Onle criticism toward technical aspects are welcome.

THE GAME:

This is the demo of a two-player puzzle game, The Mirrored Past. It is currently very short and contains 1 puzzle, but it introduces the main idea and mechanic of the game: to find out what happened, you need your friend, and your collective knowledge of the world.

You would play one of the two characters, Sparrow or Lena, and experience one side of the story.  You can see through their eyes and ask what they know about certain things.

TRIGGER WARNING:

It's is not really in the demo but the story is based on animal abuse. Currently cats are mentioned and it is very subtly hinted something wrong happened to some cats. (not from the main characters.)

Sound effects are from zapsplat, freesound and sound snap.

Ambience is from pixabay, and Music from DS Production.

Shader and skybox from unity asset store.
